Art 1: BOOKINGS
You can book a cruise, the Bateau cab, and all other services by telephone, email or post or on our website www.bluediamondtaxiboat.com . Our cruises and transfers are governed by River Passenger Transport regulations.
Art 2: VALIDATION OF BOOKINGS:
To book a cruise, the Bateau Taxi or any other service, you must complete the booking form and pay a minimum deposit of 50% of the chosen service. The booking will be considered as accepted after TAXI BOAT has sent you the booking confirmation. All passengers signing a contract on behalf of a group of people declare and guarantee that they are authorized to do so by these people.
Art 3: FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
The price of the cruise and all other services must be paid in Euros. The balance must be paid 30 days before the departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, the full amount must be paid at the same time as the booking.For last-minute bookings, the price of the service may be paid just before boarding.
Art 4: INSURANCE:
As the price does not include personal, baggage and trip cancellation insurance, we recommend that our passengers check with their insurers that their contracts cover these risks. We offer cancellation insurance that guarantees reimbursement of amounts paid up to 48 hours before departure. OUR CANCELLATION INSURANCE COVERS 100% OF THE INSURED AMOUNT UP TO 48 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE. Cost 5% of the cost of the service. Paid at time of order.
Art 5: CANCELLATION COSTS :
The customer must notify his wish to cancel his booking by e-mail to bluediamondtaxiboat@gmail.com , the indemnities due by the customer are as follows:- 30 days before departure, the service will be reimbursed less an administrative charge of €5029 - 16 days before departure, 30% of the service will be due with a minimum of €100 15days - - before departure, 70% of the service will be due with a minimum of €150; By TAXI BOAT In the event of cancellation by Blue Diamond Taxi Boat and/or the captains. A postponement or full refund will be offered.
Art 6: We reserve the right to modify all or part of the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, suspension of navigation by the authorities, breakdown of structures and others. The duration of the trip is given as an indication and may therefore vary. Our services will be confirmed at the earliest 4 days prior to sailing, as soon as we have a reliable and favorable weather forecast. The responsibility of the maritime carrier is governed by the law of June 18, 1966, modified by those of December 21, 1979, December 23, 1986 and December 1, 1988; it cannot be engaged in the event of modification of schedule or cancellation of departures due to force majeure, fortuitous or otherwise. Of course, we undertake to inform our passengers as soon as possible in such cases.
Art 7: TAXI BOAT reserves the right to refuse a reservation without having to justify its refusal. The boarding of children is under the full responsibility of the parents or the person accompanying them.
Art 8: For your comfort and safety, smoking is forbidden on board our boats.
Art 9: By booking a service, our passengers acknowledge the existence of risk while traveling by boat, but not limited to, slip, fall, injury, death or personal damage. Passengers acknowledge that TAXI BOAT is not responsible for injury, illness, death or loss of personal belongings. Swimming is permitted during stopovers, under your sole responsibility. Under no circumstances may the loan of swimming equipment be considered as a supervised nautical activity.
Art 10: The price of the service is calculated for 5 or 12 passengers. If there are fewer of you, the total cost of the service will be divided among the passengers. Each destination represents a round trip for the boat, which must return to its home port.
Art 11: All services have a common fixed cost, including the preparation and stowage of the boat and port manoeuvres. This explains why our prices are not proportional to the distances covered. In addition, our prices are subject to variations in fuel costs and inflation.
Art 12 : For reference and advertising purposes, the company is authorized to reproduce or distribute all or part of the event data on its website or on any other communication medium it may use; in particular the customer's company name or brand name, the customer's logo or brand name, photographic and video reports, written or audio testimonials.
Art 13 : Luggage is not included in our rates and may be invoiced separately. The customer declares that he/she has obtained the express authorizations of the third parties appearing in the event data, in particular those of parents or guardians in the case of minors, and thus releases the company from any third-party claims against it seeking to prohibit the publication of event data or to claim damages. Furthermore, in the event of the use and distribution by the customer of photos, videos, written or audio extracts from the event organized by the company, the customer undertakes to systematically indicate the words "Organization: TAXI BOAT".
